The situation in the play is as follows: a young theater student lives a - how else? - beautiful love story with her professor, during which she ends up with two lines on a pregnancy test. Meanwhile, the girl's parents are going through a marital crisis. The father is entangled with a third party, who... well, it's complicated, but amusing.
The actors: in the role of the young student, the young Diana Roman delivered a mature performance. No complaints.
In the role of the student's father, the eternally young Marius Manole – what can we say? Marius Manole is Marius Manole, and that's enough. He transmits a good energy as soon as he enters the stage. The audience receives and returns it amplified. Marius Manole and the audience greet each other with every line. In short, he does what any great actor does, even when the roles are not very demanding.
In the role of the student's mother, Medeea Marinescu. Elegant acting, as always, even though she had to portray a shrew with very serious emotional issues.
However, the most pleasant appearance was, in my humble opinion as a spectator who insists on remaining, Mirela Oprișor, in the role of the father's mistress. A top-class performance. Impeccable.
And then there is Vlad Zamfirescu, the actor, cast by Vlad Zamfirescu, the director, in the role of the acting professor. It’s hard, if not impossible, to argue that he wasn't the best choice. He was.
So, ladies and gentlemen, we are in the presence of a show that will not change the world, despite the somewhat moralistic, didactic tone at the end. A show that distracts from immediate reality and leaves us with a smile and maybe a few questions.
In short, ultimately, a true comedy.
