FROM ALL WALLS

The characters are skillfully characterized, and the audience can recognize themselves in their typology. Two neighbors are in conflict - Tora (Maia Morgenstern) and Cora (Carmen Tănase) who live in a duplex with a garden. Tora, a divorced woman with intellectual pretensions, wants to self-isolate from Cora, a retired medical assistant who lives with her son, Vigo (Vlad Zamfirescu). In Tora's life, her ex-husband (Mircea Rusu) also intervenes, quarreling with the young girlfriend for whom he left the marriage. The situations are inspired by current reality, charged with humor and fine irony, with a thematic reference regarding communication between people with different destinies, couple relationships, as well as parent-child relationships.
Imelda Manu builds the neighbors' attractive duplex and the characters' costumes, adapted to each one's pattern. Director – actor Vlad Zamfirescu aims for the basic theatrical element of the performance to be the actor and fully succeeds, having a cast with actors whose value is known. The actors live dramatically the situations in which the characters are involved, the result always being comic, but in few moments also dramatic.
Maia Morgenstern is an actress with a rich activity, remarkably tackling multiple roles, composed in detail. In Tora, the actress, even when she doesn't have a line, perfectly conveys the state of the lonely woman, refugeed in reading. She is excellent in every moment of the action and in the special relationships with her partners, however, she stops the comic effect, so that she can sensitively transition towards the end into the dramatic note of the loneliness of the woman abandoned by her husband. After the remarkable interpretation of Martha from ``Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?`` from the Odeon Theatre, of which she is part of the team, Carmen Tănase is hard to recognize in the retired medical assistant, caring for her son Vigo, who has reached ... 40 years old. Her Cora is a simple, energetic woman, the actress developing the character with nuance, in depth for each intervention in the action, the result being irreproachable comic. Remarkable is Mircea Rusu in the role of the phantom Trent, the husband who secretly keeps the traces of the betrayed marriage. Vlad Zamfirescu credibly defines Vigo, who is dependent to a point on his mother, eager to free himself from this relationship. It is a great pleasure for the General Public, the meeting with these personalities of our theater, which they reward with applause and during the performance for their brilliant interpretation in a play in which they find themselves. ``DE TOTI PERETII(Totul se transforma) `` is a situation comedy much awaited by the public marked by the cursed pandemic, a very successful show, of true theater, provoking the desired good mood, but also an inner thought regarding the ``mirror`` of a reality known to all.
