The gala concert, suggestively entitled "Christmas Story", brings to the attention of the public the unique Romanian symphonic wind orchestra "Romanian Symphony Wind Orchestra", under the baton of conductor Mihai Mircea Spănu.

Lăcrămioara Crihană hasa repertoire divers which contains Tenor Paul Celmare is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts in Galați, following the completion of his musical training and interpretive style at the Faculty of Interpretation, Composition and Theoretical Music Studies of the "George Enescu" University of Arts in Iași. The tenor was noticed from the beginning of his career, collaborating with the Romanian National Opera in Bucharest, the "Nae Leonard" National Theater of Opera and Operetta in Galați, being a permanent guest at music festivals in the country. He obtained accolades at various professional competitions such as "Award for the youngest and most promising performer", the Award from the Union of Composers and Musicologists of Romania for the best interpretation of a Romanian aria. From the repertoire of tenor Paul Celmare, roles such as Rică Venturiano from the opera "A Stormy Night" by Paul Constantinescu, Jodelet from the opera "The Ridiculous Precious Ones" by Vasile Spătărelu, Don Ottavio from the opera "Don Giovanni" by W.A. Mozart, Il Duca di Mantua from the opera "Rigoletto" by G. Verdi and Alfredo from the opera "La Traviata" by G. Verdi can be listed.
Conductor Mihai Mircea Spânu, the first Romanian to graduate from the faculty of conducting wind orchestra, specializing in harmony orchestra, fanfare orchestra and brass band, has performed in countries such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria or Turkey. Conductor, trumpeter and pianist, he studied at the Düsseldorf University of Music, the Maastricht Conservatory, the Amsterdam Conservatory, the Royal Conservatory of Liége and the Mönchengladbach University. He studied conducting with Pieter Jansen, Arjan Tien, Patrick Baton, Jos Zegers, also attending masterclasses of conductors Jan Cober, Thomas Doss or Theo Wolters. Mihai Mircea Spânu is also a developer of the project for the promotion of wind music and Romanian traditions within the project ,,Preservation of Romanian traditions", together with the manager Florin Ciofică, where over 60 original works and arrangements for wind orchestras were presented for the first time.
Romanian Symphony Wind Orchestra, a unique ensemble on the Romanian music scene, the first symphonic wind orchestra in Romania, was founded in 2004 by the remarkable conductor and artistic manager Florin Ciofică, with the support of Sylvia Petre (graduate of the Julliard School of Arts in the USA) and Aurel Manciu (musical director of Standmusik Elzak in Germany) under the name Bucharest Wind Orchestra.
With an extremely varied repertoire, the ensemble has managed in a short time to capitalize on numerous creations at a high professional level, thus determining a rapid evolution of the level of interpretation and the ability to understand diverse musical styles. Composed of graduates of prestigious higher musical institutions in Romania and abroad, the Romanian Symphony Wind Orchestra is the most important cultural ambassador, promoting musical works dedicated to wind instruments.
The play is directed by Simona Muscă, a director known for her innovative vision and original approaches in the field of performing arts. With vast experience in directing shows and events, Simona Muscă has collaborated with prestigious institutions both at home and abroad, demonstrating a deep understanding of stage language and the connection between artists and the audience. A director with great versatility, she has tackled a wide range of styles and genres, from classical dramas to contemporary productions, as well as shows with a strong visual impact.

Access to the Metropolitan Circus will begin at 18:00, and the audience present will have the opportunity to meet the Conductor and some of the Orchestra's artists to be introduced to the atmosphere of the capital of music, Vienna, with the show starting at 19:00. To avoid overcrowding at the access gates, the organizers recommend that spectators arrive at the concert in good time, but no earlier than 18:00, the official opening time of the access gates.
Access Regulations:
Access will be permitted on the basis of a valid ticket, to a single person, once only. The ticket on the basis of which access will be made must be kept for the duration of the show. For the safety of the public and the smooth running of the event, participants are also asked to submit to a thorough body search at the request of security agents.
Children, regardless of age, will only be allowed access on the basis of their own valid ticket. Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, who also holds their own ticket.
Access is NOT PERMITTED in the concert area with: drinks and food purchased outside the perimeter of the location, bottles (including perfume bottles of any quantity, any other bottles or deodorants), beverage cans, sprays, lasers, weapons, blunt objects, pets, bulky luggage, umbrellas, selfie sticks, professional cameras or audio-video recording devices of any kind or GoPro cameras.
The organizers recommend that spectators, once inside the concert area, locate the nearest emergency exit to the sector for which they have tickets, and then enjoy the show.
Tickets only provide access to the seats for which they were purchased. The ticket cannot be replaced if it is lost, stolen or destroyed and is valid for a single entry, once. The ticket cannot be transferred to another person, or resold. Reproduction and / or resale of tickets are illegal.
