Our dear comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest, right at the start of his university years.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret for a second that he chose the path of being a humorist and remains fully grateful to everyone who has provided him with inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both from the country and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances have always been a measure of innovation and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent, clean humor and the richness of naturalness.
