Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest shortly after starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret a single second of choosing the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have given him inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both from the country and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free-spirited artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances have always been a measure of originality and promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, the art of intelligent, pure humor and the flavor of naturalness is learned.
