FAREWELL DINNER

For Pierre and Clotilde Lecour, an intellectual Parisian couple, friends, especially those you've had for a long time, are no longer what they used to be. Life changes you and everyone evolves in their own way. Thus, they find that they spend too much time, evenings, vacations, with friends, with whom they no longer have anything to share.

And because an interesting trend has appeared in the city, called "farewell dinner", created especially for this delicate situation by some "enlightened" minds, they decide to organize such an event for the friends they want to get rid of.

In short, at a farewell dinner you overwhelm the guests with gifts, fine food, old wines, usually from the years they were born, you stir up their most beautiful memories from the good times spent together, so that afterwards you no longer have any remorse for not answering their phone calls.

However, by choosing their oldest friend, Antoine Royer, for this ridiculous ritual, they don't realize that things can go completely haywire. A pleasant evening with family and friends is about to turn into a domestic catastrophe, of planetary dimensions and irresistible comic.

In the well-known style of authors Alexandre de la Patelliere and Matthieu Delaporte, who delighted us with the intelligent comedy "What's in a Name?", our characters must face a series of devastating revelations and at least delicate disclosures that their friendship has kept well hidden until today. The result is as expected. A flood of good humor and bursts of laughter, about what friendship really means and how to get rid of them.
