The show aims to take young and old spectators on a journey through time, where they will discover fascinating mythological characters and events, meet the deities of Ancient Greece and learn the story of fire, given to humans by Prometheus.
We are on the realm of Ancient Greece, in the time when the connections between mortals and gods were strong. The gods had created humans in their image and likeness, and they venerated them and brought them offerings. After many centuries, both on Olympus and on Earth, peace and harmony reigned. But things began to change.
People were becoming more and more independent, more prosperous, they began to forget the submission they owed to the gods. Seeing their behavior, Zeus, the supreme leader of the gods, decided to punish the mortals. He called the other gods to him and together they decided to take away from the people the ability to light fire on Earth. Without the power of fire, mortals would suffer terribly. But Zeus, had another problem...
„Gods of Olympus - Prometheus and the Fire" is a production of the Ambasadorii Musical Theatre, the only theater for children and youth under the tutelage of the Ministry of Culture.
The minimum recommended age for this show is 5 years old.
