A MOMENT OF PEACE

"A Moment of Bliss" is the story of Michel, a renowned film set designer who discovers in a Parisian flea market the legendary album by Neil Youart, "Me, myself and I," which he has been looking for for years. While he wants to listen in peace in his living room to the precious album, the whole world seems to oppose his little joy: his wife chooses this very moment to make a shocking confession, his son arrives unexpectedly, his best friend knocks on his door with bad news, the neighbor bothers him, the installer floods his apartment, his mistress decides to reveal everything to his wife, while his mother keeps calling him on his mobile... Manipulative, lying and fundamentally egocentric, Michel is ready to do anything to have peace and, finally, to enjoy a little moment of bliss.
Florian Zeller is the new revelation of French cinema. Zeller, a novelist, playwright, and theater director by trade, wrote and directed "The Father" in 2020, the film starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman in the leading roles. Which had six Oscar nominations, including for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay.
The text, translated and adapted by Răzvan Oprea, is a story about the selfishness and egocentrism that the society we live in has brought ever closer to us.
Răzvan Săvescu is an actor, theater and film director known to the public for the film "America, venim!" (America, we're coming!), but also the series "La Bloc" and "La servici" (At work). "O oră de liniște" (An Hour of Peace) is not the first collaboration with WonderTheatre, Săvescu being the director for two of the company's highly successful comedies with the public, "Prenumele" (with Mihai Călin, Ecaterina Landin and Leonid Doni) and "Scandal în familie" (with Adriana Trandafir, Marius Bodochi, Paula Chirilă).
