A Romanian carousel of laughter, dance and emotion!* A platter of goodies for you all!
In the tavern La Puiu’ Auriu near the train station, 50 performers meet: actors, musicians, dancers, peasants, mythical figures, illegalists from the horse industry, people with talent and a desire for Chef. You will finally find out why trains are late in Romania!
Get ready for an evening without labels, but with soul, good cheer and characters enough for a play by Caragiale… with a cymbal.
And the characters are:
Lelița Cârciumăreasă – Rodica Oprican, optimism at its best, who, together with
Patronu’ – Dorel Darie, wants to save the place from bankruptcy and the government's tax, bringing in the top musicians. But before he finds them, in the tavern appear to quench their thirst or bitterness:
Funcționarul – Marian Coman, who sneezed on the head of the Minister of Finance, and
Chelnerul – Nicușor Enache, serves Chinese motivational quotes.
Mache – Emil Popa, almost slaps
Lache – Liviu Mincă, who keeps stirring the pot. Luckily with
Tache – Marius Chiriac, who is waiting for Mița. Now everyone is waiting for Mița, even if they don't really know why. And the train is late, because
The Train Conductor – Grațian Bădescu, had an incident at the Leordeni train station. And Mița,
Mița – Silvia Timiș, with her unmistakable voice and charming allure, lightens the atmosphere.
Everyone is now enchanted by
Cătălin Iancu jr. – himself, the cymbalist who doesn't just strike the strings, but directly into the heart!
Florin Pană – the accordionist and Cătălin Iancu sr. – the elder of Doina Argeșului, get the dancing going so that no one leaves until morning, because that's how it is at a party, at The Supreme Party!
