   A musical declaration of love for imperial Vienna, Viennese Blood is a very special operetta: a collage ingenious of waltzes and polkas signed by Johann Strauss the Younger, brought together in a story inevitably romantic about love intrigues and identity confusion, against the festive backdrop of the Congress of Vienna.   Launched in 1899, shortly after the composer's death, Viennese Blood represents the symbolic end of the golden age of the Viennese waltz. Although the premiere was a failure, the show was rediscovered a few years later and became a classic title of the Viennese repertoire, adored for the beauty of the music and the nostalgic charm of the world it evokes.    The colorful characters, the situational comedy and the celebrated waltz that gives the show its title transform Viennese Blood into an unforgettable evening – ideal for both operetta lovers and those who are discovering the charm of this genre for the first time.
