Pianist and composer Andrei Irimia launches, in an artistic moment of reference, two complementary albums: the album "Lights and Shadows", made in collaboration with actor Marius Manole and the international discographic material "Lights & Shadows.
The album "Lights and Shadows" is positioned at the intersection of music and poetry, artistically materializing the dialogue between the two artists and marking, at the same time, the debut of the national tour of the same name. The project offers the public a multisensory experience, inviting them to an incursion into the universe of emotions and reflection. The album created with Marius Manole includes eight original songs, structured as a suite of states that explores the tension between fragility and strength, silence and expression, inner shadows and the need for light. The minimalist and intensely emotional music of Andrei Irimia intertwines with the striking and confessional voice of Marius Manole, who brings poetic texts to life with a sincerity that seeks the truth beyond artifice.
"We wanted to create a bridge between the two worlds, that of sound and that of the word. To talk about the shadows from which light and personal truth are born." – Andrei Irimia
"For me, this album is about the courage to look within yourself and to transform pain into art. Each text is a fragment of truth said at the right time." – Marius Manole
At the same time, "Lights & Shadows", the album launched internationally, completes this journey through an introspective and cinematic musical exploration, distilling the emotional polarities of the artist into an essential and suggestive sound language.
The "Lights and Shadows" tour transforms this artistic universe into a show experience, built as an expressive stage dialogue between Andrei Irimia's piano and Marius Manole's voice.
The artistic core is amplified by the interventions of violinist Răzvan Păun and cellist Thibault Solórzano, in a show that combines music, minimalist dramaturgy and a light design signed by Daniel Mancaș. Together, all these elements build an immersive atmosphere, a space for dialogue with oneself.
