"WHIMS AND WHIMSICAL PEOPLE", a script based on the funniest Caragiale "moments", directed by Dan Tudor, part of the project CARAGIALE INTEGRAL, whose debut took place with the premiere of "D’ale Carnavalului" on January 21st and continued in February with "O noapte furtunoasă" at the beginning of February.
The cast of the new premiere includes beloved actors of the Romanian stage, regulars in successful performances directed by the prolific Dan Tudor: Dragoș Ionescu, Andrei Duban, Corina Dănilă, Adriana Guluțanu, Afrodita Androne, Gabriel Coveșeanu, Grațiela Teohari Duban, Adrian Dima, Dan Tudor. WHIMS AND WHIMSICAL PEOPLE is a modern, thrilling interpretation of I.L. Caragiale's sketches, a show that combines situational comedy with the unexpected, a cinematic flow, without altering the uniqueness of the writing and strictly respecting Caragiale's spirit and letter. Characters like Mache, Lache, Goe, Mamița, Mam’Mare, the dog Bubico, and "Conu Iancu" himself, strange travelers and customers – all await you on the troublesome train, in all the God-forsaken stations, where anything can happen!
