Guided tour of the Parliament Palace

13 September Street, Entrance B3

The 2:30 PM tour will be conducted in French.

   If you visit Bucharest, do not miss the largest and most expensive administrative building in the world: the Palace of the Parliament. It rises to a height of 86 meters, sinks 90 meters underground, and covers an area of 330,000 square meters.

   Sign up now for a guided tour to uncover the secrets of this building and discover Nicolae Ceaușescu's intentions regarding it, had he succeeded in completing it during his term as President of Romania.

   School groups participating in the "Another School" (Școala Altfel) or "Green Week" (Săptămâna Verde) programs are invited to contact us for more details.

Once your tickets are received by email, you must communicate the date and time of your visit via WhatsApp to +40767153522 in order to obtain information regarding the meeting point.

   This is the only guided tour that allows tourists to enter the building through the access that Nicolae Ceaușescu used to reach his office, called "Cabinet No. 1".

   It is also the only guided tour that grants access to the plenary session room — where Romania's only atomic clock is located — and that allows you to get close to the steel cylinder buried by Nicolae Ceaușescu in 1984 under the main staircase of entrance A1; this cylinder contains data and details related to the construction project.

"« I bequeath this House... »" : such is the phrase spoken by the dictator.

The itinerary of the standard visit is as follows:

• Main staircase (entrance A1) – entrance for tourists;

• Monumental staircase;

• Corridor in front of Nicolae Ceaușescu's Cabinet No. 1;

• Constantin Stere Hall;

• Avram Iancu Hall;

• Corridor serving the Constantin Stere and Avram Iancu halls – where portraits of all the presidents of the Senate are exhibited, from the creation of the institution to the present day;

• Foyer of the plenary hall;

• Senate plenary hall;

• Atomic clock located in the plenary hall – unique in Romania;

• Spiral staircase descending to the ground floor – along the building's largest pillar (39 m);

• Corridor housing the parliamentary group offices;

• Main staircase (entrance A1) – exit for tourists;

The tour itinerary is subject to change depending on scheduled events.

The tour lasts approximately 50 minutes.

There is no age limit, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission is free for children under 14 years old.

Payment is made online only (by bank card); you will then receive an electronic ticket containing all the necessary information for quick access to the meeting point.

The ticket price includes: the possibility to take photos or videos, as well as access to the toilets and cloakroom.
