Beauty was born in the countryside; you can see that through the eyes of Maricica, a simple girl from Oltenia, who came to Bucharest to become an actress.
The play is a lesson full of humor and sincerity, practiced with courage by our characters, Maricica and the Painter, in front of an unfamiliar crowd. It is an exploration into the picturesque life of the countryside and an invitation to become unique, to love life, to fight for what we feel. A humorous challenge to rediscover ourselves.
