It was ok at 60 – one-man-show with Răzvan Vasilescu
It was ok at 60 tells a story about the small miracles, pleasures, abandonments, and paradoxes of a man's life who discovers the joy of living every day.
The beloved actor humorously and ironically tells how his perspective on life changed as he aged. The relaxed attitude and sincerity with which he "mocks the misfortune" turn the experience of watching this show into a life lesson, masterfully staged.
A healthy dose of comedy that will make you say, in the end, that it will surely be ok at 60. Because each age has its charm. The secret is never to stop laughing.
Răzvan Vasilescu is one of the most well-known Romanian theater and cinema actors. Reviews:
“The dose of disarming sincerity, the genuinely emotional moments where, with irony but not devoid of tenderness, he admits his aging, make the experience of watching this one-hour show something more than continuous laughter. You get a thought-provoking consideration to take home and a demonstration of acting art. Răzvan Vasilescu's performance, his phrasing, verbal flow, the type of character he brings with him, his stage presence, is the complete package; it's not just a guy with a microphone in his hand telling jokes. He's an actor who tells you a story.”
“Răzvan Vasilescu is a spectacle. And the fact that he decided to have such a meeting with the audience, almost 1-on-1, without the mediation of the character, can only be a joy for the spectators." Alina Epîngeac, Yorick.
