Happiness is within us... We don't need anything... to be happy... We just need to free ourselves from the immediate, to understand that harmony is the natural state of being... To reconnect to the rhythm of the planet which... Have you already gotten angry? That would be normal. You know everything about stereotypes, about useless metaphors that hide the lack of content, about predictable events, the imagined meaning of life and the commercial/childish secret of happiness? Of course, you know. You have no choice. Now, try to forget... Forget everything you know about stereotypes, metaphors, secrets... Forgotten? Good. Forget (-look) again once more! The secret of happiness is a show centered on the actors' play and the story they build together. A contemporary story about how we live our loves and relationships, intelligent and savory, with plot twists and generous bursts of laughter. The show abounds in good, humorous lines, so you'll laugh a lot. And just like in the case of ALL INCLUSIVE, the author teases you with bubbly comedy and then gracefully executes you. Because the joke suddenly turns into drama and then into tragedy. And, as befits skillful writers, Alex Popa gave you numerous clues to understand what is really happening. Even with tedious insistence, looking back. Only you were having such a good time that it never occurred to you to take them into account. The guilty parties for this selective inattentiveness are also the three actors (Vlad Zamfirescu, Irina Velcescu, and Dan Bordeianu) who compel you to avidly follow their more nuanced or violent transformations. They have dynamic roles, always playing different cards and making faces as the situation evolves, their "characters" are unmasked, and nothing is what it seemed to be. The jester turns detective, then executioner. The joke becomes confrontation, followed by a bluff intelligently and methodically constructed, Machiavellian.
