Independent Theater Luceafărul stages its second production, the show “Brainstorm”, a unique analysis of how the adolescent brain works, the process by which it develops and determines their behavior. The show is a universal “journal” of the adolescent that captures both the adrenaline, emotions, curiosities, ambitions, and fun specific to their age, as well as the insecurities, hesitations, outbursts, and disappointments that an adolescent feels.
There are 86 billion neurons in an adolescent's brain forming a series of connections and causing the most effervescent changes in their life. 11 adolescents battle with the chaos in their minds, the disorder in their bedrooms, and their relationship with their parents. 11 personal experiences are shared with the audience, having one common point: the frustration of not being understood by those around them.
