"Old Love" is a romantic comedy in two acts, with notes of personal drama, that presents the story with a happy ending, Hollywood style, in an austere setting made up of a few pieces of white furniture, contributing to the special, minimalist tone of the play.
An "Old Love" is set in our days, linking minor clerk Bud Mitchell and his employer's wife, Molly Graham, for almost three decades, with sporadic meetings and humor-filled conversations, quickly forgotten by her but forming the foundation of a solid emotional structure for him. However, the decisive step is not taken until the two are alone, free from family obligations, she as a widow, he as a divorcee.
