The show “Kidnapping” arises from the need to laugh at oneself, at others, and at the adversity surrounding us. When those who are supposed to ensure our well-being steal from us and ignore us, there is nothing left to do but to take action.
Paco, our protagonist, in a desperate attempt to save his job and avoid losing his home, decides to take extreme measures, becoming a vigilante like Charles Bronson, like Batman… But Paco is neither Charles Bronson nor Batman, Paco is just Paco… a butcher in the Latin Market … he is only a character in the delightful comedy “Kidnapping,” written by Fran Nortes. And at the end of the show, we have no choice but to laugh, enjoy, accept who we are, and trust that everything will be alright.
