Scandal in the Family is produced by the independent company Wonder-Theater.
A wild farce with lovers, mix-ups, a midnight rendezvous, and a hungry bear. In other words, laughter without interruption until the end.
Somewhere in a room at the Swing Motel, Danny and Kathy, in the heat of passion, quarrel energetically when Kathy reveals she's meeting another man. Meanwhile, in another room, Paul is very frustrated that his mistress, Jennifer, hesitates to cheat on her husband. Bill and Mary are getting ready to celebrate twenty-nine years of marriage. Mary wants a wild night of sex under the open sky, but Bill just wants to be left alone.
To make things more interesting, Paul's best friend is Danny, who is married to Jennifer, who is having an affair with Paul, who is meeting with Kathy, who is Danny's mistress and Jennifer's sister. In the second act, everyone unwittingly meets at Bill and Mary's mountain cabin. The consequences are unimaginable but terribly amusing.
