Aunt Lili is the rich aunt, Tonel is the nephew obsessed with gambling who, of course, wants his aunt’s money. Does this story sound familiar? It might, all stories have been told already, what can be new is only the way you tell them. The show 'What did you do with the cat?' is a comedy full of plot twists and which, until the very last moment, takes the spectator by surprise, moving them through all states from laughter to emotion without any kind of warning. The author Lia Bugnar (who is also the director of the show) has chosen the actors with care, offering the audience an hour and a half that flies by without pause. Rodica Mandache, Marius Manole, Maria Buza, Medeea Marinescu, Anghel Damian, and Lia Bugnar worked on this show during the pandemic, and now, as they finally have the chance to present it to the audience, they do so with the energy and longing of actors who have been kept away from the stage for far too long. A comedy made between actor friends, with joy for the theatre, to the joy of the spectator.
