The butler, the minister, and the mistress. A very common love triangle in 1930s Romania... Any resemblance to today's reality is, obviously, not coincidental! Actors Adriana Trandafir, Gabriel Fătu, Ion Ionuț Ciocia, Alexandra Apetrei / Maria Claudia Vasile, Vlad Corbeanu, and Mihai Munteniță turn this wonderful play into: liars lied to... deceivers deceived... entanglements tangled... in short, a brilliant comedy played at a fast pace. Dramatic moments are not missing either, where the plans, sewn with much too thin a thread, lead to the unraveling of all relationships in Minister Iorgu Vasiliu's house. With crazy decisions motivated by blind love, with suspense determined by death threats, and with a Police Inspector who intervenes at the right moment to try to unravel a mystery, nothing more is needed except a Fool, for "Our Mistress from the Ministry" to also become a Crime Comedy.
