"Nessun Dorma" extraordinary concert with tenors Ştefan von Korch and Alin Stoica at Dalles Hall on September 23rd

Autumn brings the concert in which the effervescent horizon of operetta will meet the richness and drama of opera. Tenors Ştefan von Korch and Alin Stoica, along with pianist Alexandru Burcă will delight the audience with a brilliant selection of works in which they have gathered stormy applause on major stages in the country or abroad. The concert will be an incursion among landmark arias, but also among beloved canzonets and famous pieces that awaken high feelings.

The tenor Ştefan von Korch, the promoter of the Musical Extravaganza concerts, says: "We invite you to discover or rediscover a selection of very well-known pieces, which we want to give to the public and beyond the stage on which they were consecrated. We invite both those who love opera and operetta, as well as those who have not yet discovered its richness."

While tenor Ştefan von Korch is recognized for his extraordinary high notes and is acclaimed for appearances in lyrical roles par excellence, tenor Alin Stoica is described as "a tenor with a colossal voice the likes of which hasn't been heard in a while on Romanian stages and beyond," and is appreciated for his dramatic strength, so the musical encounter of the two soloists promises to be truly memorable.

About the season Musical Extravaganza

Musical Extravaganza Season. The concerts aim to offer the public the joy of meeting representative names of the lyrical scene, in a more intimate setting, which offers a different perspective on the artistic act compared to that of the imposing opera stage, but also to bring the classical genre closer to audiences of all ages.  Spectators are invited to admire their favorite soloists in a select atmosphere, complemented by a chamber accompaniment, which highlights the performers in a warm and personal light.

The events are hosted at Sala Dalles, a choice that is no coincidence. The protagonists of Musical Extravaganza invite the public to a space with tradition and history in the cultural landscape and take the stage on which, over time, great musicians such as George Enescu (26 concerts), Dinu Lipatti, Mihai Jora, Ionel Perlea, Ion Voicu or Virginia Zeani have performed.
