Răzvan Vasilescu teaches us about truth in a show-confession that narrates the drama of a literature teacher condemned to face his fate, again and again, in front of the audience.
In a small and violent world, Profu' dreams of restoring the lost spirit of the school, but ultimately gets swallowed by his own instinct. He is the modern hero who, refusing to adapt to a dysfunctional system, ends up committing an irreparable crime.
Jean-Pierre Dopagne's text explores societal issues, lost values, and the conflict between generations. Weaving together cruelty, humor, and candor, PROFU` remains a painfully relevant drama, but one that will make you laugh heartily and from which you will leave with a lesson learned.
