TOC - TOC
The play ”TOC - TOC” is written by the French playwright Laurent Baffie, an actor and writer for entertainment shows on radio and television, premiering in 2005 at the Palais-Royal in Paris.
”TOC –TOC” is a bubbly comedy set in the office of Dr. Stern, a neuropsychiatrist renowned for his successes in treating obsessive-compulsive disorders – OCD. An appointment with Dr. Stern is hard to come by, as he travels extensively abroad.
Coprolalia, arithmomania, nosophobia, palilalia are just a few of the afflictions of the six patients who meet in the waiting room of Dr. Stern. He is delayed, stuck at the airport. After a while, the patients will try to endure the waiting time more easily by improvising a group therapy, which will lead each of them to tell their story and, in turn, end up becoming friends and collaborating to overcome their own OCDs.
