The third musical for children in the "Musical Box" series, titled "Papa-Lapte and the Golden Egg," will be performed for the last time this year on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the Main Hall of the National Palace of Children in Bucharest. Produced by the Musical Theater Ambassadors, based on a concept by Liliana Ștefan, psychologist and author, "Papa-Lapte and the Golden Egg" is dedicated to the whole family, being a show about courage and self-belief. Throughout the story, it presents how labeling can have a negative impact on building a child's self-esteem and how we can help them shape a strong character. With joy and enthusiasm, the show takes the little ones along the storyline where they meet beloved characters from previous performances, as well as a new character, Papa-Lapte. “Papa-Lapte represents a shy, withdrawn child who needs more time to complete tasks. For this reason, he is labeled as <>, both by family and friends. He struggles and grows with this label, coming to believe that only something miraculous can make him braver, stronger, and respected by those around him. He thinks that his salvation is a magical “Golden Egg" that would immediately grant him all the qualities he dreams of. In our story, he learns that these qualities do not come from possessing a golden egg, but are already latent within him, waiting to be discovered and cultivated.” - Liliana Ștefan, the author of the script and song lyrics. Through music, dance, and dialogues between characters, children learn how to overcome certain fears related to public speaking, as well as the importance of support from family and loved ones in this process.
