Our dear comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău and settled in Bucharest, immediately with the year of starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and remembers with great pleasure the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He doesn't regret a single second that he chose the path of the humorist profession and remains fully grateful to all those who gave him inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both from the country and from abroad.

After countless comedy shows written and performed in over 35 years of practicing this profession, the image remains of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the Romanian artist charismatic and elegant who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. Always his talent and professional performances being the measure of the unique and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist one learns the art of intelligent, clean humor and the flavor of naturalness.
