"Love lasts until one of the partners remembers where they put the list of the other's flaws"
A comedy with a lot of humor, irony and romantic realism, where nothing is what it seems, and love is treated as a serious joke...
Production of the Metronom Theater, with a brilliant cast:
Leonid Doni, Irina Antonie and Paul Ipate,
Directed and written by: Octavian Strunilă
Paintings: Bogdan Andronic Andronicuss,
and a scenography signed by Maria Nicola.
On a cold April evening, Adina and Radu, a couple with "history" of eight years, try to celebrate their anniversary... without killing each other! They set up their tent and hopes by the sea, but the wind isn't the only thing disturbing their plans. They argue, make up, sigh, and easily go from agony to ecstasy. When the Artist enters the scene, a bohemian painter with a free spirit as vast as the deserted beach, the story goes haywire.
Get ready for a fun 1h30 journey, where "romance" and the "battle of the sexes" go hand in hand until dawn, at sunrise by the sea.
The encounter with the Artist, a free spirit as vast as a summer day, is like a cocktail of surprises, ironies, and uncomfortable truths that shake the two from all perspectives – including the amorous one.
Love lasts eight years is an invitation to see romantic relationships through the lens of sincerity (and comedy), where every argument can end in laughter and every reconciliation is just an excuse for the next confrontation. Does love have a warranty? Come and find out, but one thing is certain: laughter is included in the ticket price!
„Sex is the only sport where two minutes can mean a record... or disaster.”
The minimum age for access to the show is 12 years!
