Laura doesn't know how to read. And, frankly, she doesn't even think she'll succeed. Those around her always tell her "later", but she's tired of waiting. In a world where children are increasingly disconnected from books and absorbed by screens, Laura becomes the symbol of an entire generation that risks losing the magic of reading. But when her friends disappear – literally! – between the pages of some books, Laura understands that she must learn. Now. Not later.

Thus she meets the Librarian of Librarians, a mysterious character who seems to have read everything, to know everything and to see beyond words. He offers her a choice that will change her destiny: to remain in the world she knows or to step beyond the covers, into a universe where books are alive and breathe. Then begins the greatest adventure of her life – an extraordinary journey through stories she has only heard, but never lived. Laura will meet the Little Prince, Pinocchio, Little Muc, Alice in Wonderland, Tom Sawyer and Anton Lupan from "All Sails Up" – all waiting to be discovered, but also to discover her.

But in her way stands Scrollina, the influencer with cotton candy hair and millions of followers, who knows that if Laura discovers the power of reading, many others will follow her. For Scrollina, reading is a waste of time, and books are completely useless. In today's life, if you want to be successful, you have to go viral and be visible online. And Laura? Laura is invisible. For now.

THE INVISIBLES is the first original Romanian musical made entirely according to the recipe of the great West End and Broadway shows - an independent large-scale production that marks an important moment in Romanian musical theater.

Based on the extraordinary book by Ioana Pârvulescu, the show comes to life on stage in the vision of Claudia Ciobanu, who signs the script and directs this captivating adventure about courage and the magic of books. Cornel Ilie from the beloved band VUNK composed the melodies, music and lyrics that transform every moment into a hummable hit, while Cezara Blioju created through dance and movement a universe in which every gesture tells a story. Ioana Sihota completes the team through musical preparation and direction, ensuring that each voice becomes the perfect instrument of this imaginary journey into the world of books.

On stage, the boundaries between reality and fiction completely blur – classic literary characters emerge from the pages of books and come to life before our eyes. From the encounter with the Little Prince among the stars to the adventures on the raging sea on the ship Speranța, every scenic moment seems to "come out" of the universe of books directly onto the stage. The costumes and virtual sets, specially designed for this production, the exceptional cast, bring authenticity and emotion to this magical story, in perfect tandem with the talented children in the main roles who demonstrate that the future of Romanian theater is in safe hands and that true art is born from passion, not from technology.
