"Lies Don't Have Such Long Legs" is a bubbly comedy in four characters, which played on Broadway for 30 years, and in Romania was translated and staged for the first time by the late Florian Pittiș at the Bulandra Theater in 1998. The action takes place in the middle of the last century, when there were no mobile phones, internet or single currency and follows two men who take their girlfriends for a weekend at the seaside, in a luxury hotel on the coast. One of them always tells the "truth", the other always lies, but neither will escape the fateful meeting with his wife.
