The bandoneon is the instrument specific to tango music, a mysterious instrument, little known in Romania and made famous by the great composer of tango nuevo, Astor Piazzolla, through his virtuosity and musical compositions. Along with the piano, they form a heartbreaking and electrifying sound intertwining at the same time.

ELENA IVANCA - is an actress of the National Theater of Cluj-Napoca, with a rich artistic career both in theater and in film.

Born in Botoșani, she is a graduate of the Faculty of Theater in Cluj-Napoca, with a master's degree on the theme "Diction or Performance Speaking", and in 2012 she obtained the title of Doctor of Theater, with the thesis "The Gesture as a mediator and creator of meaning. From text to the embodiment of the character".

The large-scale roles, collaborations and pedagogical activity have brought her numerous awards and recognition, but what characterizes her perhaps best is the passion and dedication for the profession and people.

She is well known to the general public with the play "Goddesses of Category B", a large-scale theatrical success, and from the films "Mirciulică" or "Wedding for Money".

IRINA and ROBERT INDREI  form a couple both in everyday life and on stage. Graduates of the "Ghe. Dima" Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca, respectively Bucharest, they have been singing Argentine tango for more than 10 years. Irina is a doctoral student at the Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca specializing in Argentine tango, and also a pianist at the Hungarian Opera in Cluj-Napoca.

Robert is the only Romanian musician who plays the bandoneon in a tango orchestra.

With a rich stage experience on the stages of the Philharmonic Orchestras in the country and at Argentine tango festivals in Romania and abroad, they bring to the public a fragment of the beauty and magic of tango music.

They perform under the aegis of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic and in partnership with the Romanian National Opera Cluj-Napoca. They have also performed at the invitation of the Royal House at Peleș Castle. The two musicians have held Argentine tango recitals in Vienna, Munich, at the Annual Argentine Tango Ball in Budapest.

The three protagonists of the show are not collaborating for the first time, the show being staged in Sibiu, Oradea and Cluj-Napoca, Iasi or Botoșani, and their stage chemistry has made this unique concept well received by the general public.

The host of this show is the Metropolitan Center for Education and Culture (DALLES Hall), an emblematic cultural institution of the capital, which needs no introduction.

Argentine tango is part of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage and is considered a universal phenomenon.
