In a family from Iasi, lives a small provincial politician, Napoleon Piciorus, bankrupt, beardless, stupid, and innocent. The party, "the system", chooses him, for his naivety, to be the "hero" of the party's interests and of the scoundrels at the head of the party.
The political games of absolute comic flavor are countered by Napoleon Piciorus's mother-in-law, played MAGISTRALLY AND EXPLOSIVELY by the extraordinary CARMEN TANASE.
