Workshop on expressiveness, personal development, and play for adults
Theater is more than art – it is also a way to discover yourself, to express yourself freely, and to overcome your limits.
The acting course for adults organized at the Metropolitan Center for Education and Culture "Ioan I. Dalles" is aimed at those who wish to explore new facets of their personality, to develop their self-confidence, spontaneity, and creativity.
In a safe and friendly space, participants will work through improvisation, theatrical games, acting techniques, and character building, transforming emotions and personal experiences into artistic resources. The course emphasizes freedom of expression, authenticity, and the joy of play.

What will you develop during the course?
During the workshop, participants will work on:
· developing self-confidence and personal expressiveness;
· exploring creative potential;
· improving diction, voice, and stage presence;
· improvisation and spontaneity;
· communication and teamwork;
· authentic expression of emotions;
· building and interpreting theatre characters and scenes.
Course Outcome
At the end of the module, the work process will be materialized in a show presented on the stage of Dalles Hall.
The final moment is not intended as an interpretation test, but as an experience through which participants confidently embrace what they have discovered about themselves during the course.
About the lecturer – Alexandra Pribeagu
Alexandra Pribeagu is an actress, director, and theater pedagogue, a graduate of UNATC „I.L. Caragiale”.
Her activity combines acting and directing with artistic pedagogy, both in independent theater projects and in educational contexts dedicated to children and adults. In her work, she uses theater as a tool for expression, exploration, and self-knowledge, encouraging participants to discover their creativity, gain more confidence, and express themselves freely.
