A story about love, meeting, parting, and the fragile border between reality and dream.
A He and a She meet one morning in an apparently ordinary space. They don't know each other, but a relationship begins between them, which gradually transforms into an inner and spiritual journey. For nine nights, the two discover love, closeness, desire, loneliness, and, finally, the mystery of disappearance.
Matei Vișniec's universe is a poetic and enigmatic one, where reality constantly blends with dream and symbol. The play speaks of the deep human need to find someone with whom to share the same existence, to the point of losing the boundary between "I" and "you".
"The Beautiful Journey of Panda Bears..." is, in essence, a story about two people who meet to lose themselves in each other.
