Beauty was born in the countryside; this can be seen through the eyes of Maricica, a simple girl from Oltenia, who came to Bucharest to become an actress.
The play is a lesson full of humor and sincerity, which our characters, Maricica and the Painter, courageously rehearse in front of a crowd of strangers. It is an incursion into the picturesque life in the countryside and an encouragement to become unique, to love life, to fight for what we feel. A funny challenge to rediscover ourselves.
