One evening. One piano. One emotion - "Enescu in the Country" arrives in Constanța

There are encounters that music makes possible without a single word, encounters where a hall becomes, for a few hours, a place of emotion, and every sound carries a story. Such an encounter is being prepared in Constanța, as part of the anniversary edition of the "George Enescu" International Competition.
On September 8, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, the "Sergiu Celibidache" Hall of the "Regina Maria" Art High School will host the recital of pianist Raluca Știrbăț, included in the "Enescu in the Country" series. For the first time, the spirit of the competition reaches Constanța in a format that brings music closer to the public and highlights what is most precious about it: authentic emotion and the encounter between artist and spectator.
The "Enescu in the Country" series is an invitation to discover music where it is born and formed, to create bridges between generations, and to bring excellence closer to communities. For Constanța, this premiere also represents a declaration of confidence in the future of art and in the power of musical education.
The event is part of the collaboration between ARTEXIM and the "Oleg Danovski" National Opera and Ballet Theatre, opening a new perspective for the cultural life of the region.
Between August 23 and September 19, 2026, the "George Enescu" International Competition continues the tradition of discovering and supporting new generations of artists.
