The National Opera and Ballet Theatre "Oleg Danovski" Constanța presents "The Marriage of Figaro" by W. A. Mozart

Within the 2026-2027 season, the National Opera and Ballet Theatre "Oleg Danovski" Constanța invites the public to one of the most beloved masterpieces of the universal lyrical repertoire: "The Marriage of Figaro" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The show will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, starting at 18:30, on the stage of the Trade Union House of Culture in Constanța, in a production that highlights the elegance, playful spirit, and refinement of Mozartian music.

Inspired by Pierre Beaumarchais's famous comedy, "The Marriage of Figaro" is one of the fundamental operas in the universal repertoire, combining humor and irony with psychological depth and music of extraordinary expressiveness. The story of Figaro and Susanna, surrounded by love intrigues, jealousies, disguises, and comical situations, offers the audience a dynamic theatrical and musical experience.

The show brings together the artists of the "Oleg Danovski" National Opera and Ballet Theatre, in a generous cast, alongside guests and debutants: Daniel Pop, Silvia Simionescu, Nicoleta Ardelean, Marius Eftimie, Alexandru Costea - Bucharest, Mihai Teodoru, Magda Marcu, Marius Turtoi, Eugen Florea - debut, Adrian Pîrlea, Mihaela Ionescu, Ionuț Neagu.

At the conductor's podium will be Ciprian Teodorașcu, in a performance by the Orchestra and Choir of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre "Oleg Danovski" Constanța.

Through this new meeting with the public, the National Opera and Ballet Theatre "Oleg Danovski" continues the series of performances from the new season, reaffirming its mission to bring the great titles of the lyrical repertoire to the Constanța stage and to create a space for meeting between artistic tradition and new generations of performers.
