For the first time this year, winter stories are told differently. „Vienna Vision – Once Upon a Time in December" brings to the stage a unique production, on the border between theater and music, in which the warm sound of the wind orchestra and the voice of the prima donna of the evening intertwine with role-playing, stage movement and good mood.

Under the baton of conductor Silviu Deaconescu and in the vision of director Alexandru Unguru, the refrains come to life, and the instrumentalists leave their static location, becoming actors, so that each sound theme becomes a skit, the skits are linked in chapters, and the chapters merge into „Once Upon a Time in December" – a story about joy, nostalgia and the magic of winters of yesteryear, told with the freshness and energy of the present.

On this road, humorous introductions, theatrical moments full of life or poetic moments full of sensitivity make transitions between famous polkas, mazurkas and marches, performed by the Vienna Wind Orchestra, in a cheerful and atypical Christmas show, which is not only listened to, but lived – with the eyes, with the ears and with the heart, " explains conductor Silviu Deaconescu.
